At Patient Safety Coaching, we understand the importance of patient safety and are committed to educating and skilling individuals with a healthcare background in how to extend their current expertise to embrace coaching as a developmental approach to achieve extraordinary improvements in patient safety within their team and organisation. That is why we developed the Diploma of Patient Safety Coaching course - to help healthcare leaders and teams create psychologically safe environments in which near misses can be reported without blame and learnings can occur. The result is transformational individual, team and organisational cultural change through coaching.

Diploma and Advanced Diploma coaching courses are delivered to international standards

  • Patient Safety Coaching has developed two courses in patient safety coaching targeted at making improvements in the healthcare sector.
  • The Diploma of Patient Safety Coaching provides leaders with the knowledge and skills to prevent adverse events from occurring in healthcare settings and, if they do, to learn from the mistakes.
  • The Advanced Diploma of Patient Safety Coaching focuses on governance issues that executives address at the systemic level to improve outcomes for all the patients in their care.
These courses are delivered ethically and resonsibly to international standards by the Australian Institute of Professional Coaches. All of their coaching courses are approved by the International Coaching Federation.
